Very nice! Although I looked very closely but didn't see any hermaphrodites. Then I went back and looked closely again, still no hermaphrodites! I think maybe what you think is one is not one? Because I sure know hermaphrodites when I see them and I don't see them. I like naked ladies, though, so thank you anyway! Have a great and happy day Silver Debuse!
While I appreciate and share your love of the form of artistic expression commonly referred to as graffiti (although I prefer the more respectful term "street art") I question your preference of genre. These selections might be termed "offensive", one might even go so far as to say "obscene". I encourage you to investigate other genres of the art including fine street art (see http://www.flickr.com/photos/zigs1/280094303/ for a fine example that pays homage to one who came before) and of course socially aware or political street art (a fine collection recently posted to Slate: http://todayspictures.slate.com/20080522/).
Given your public profile you are in an excellent position to raise the bar and educate the public! Thank you.
(p.s. leoba is right. Not a hermaphrodite in sight.)
I'm sorry if the post topic "hermaphroditism" let you to expect pictures of ladyboys, Leoba. Some of us just aren't so obvious.
And I'm sorry, Mrs. Sawyer, a lack of revolutionary slogans, pictures of guns, or pinko imagery equates in your narrow world-view to a lack of social awareness or political intent. Is the offensive and the obscene not a political statement in itself? (One that it is not my job to explain to you. I refer you to my New Year's Resolution.)
Mr. Debuse and Mrs. Sawyer, if your paths lead you to London in the next month or so you'll want to stop in at the Tate Modern to check out their exhibition on "Street Art" (through August 25). I visited it earlier in the summer and although I didn't get much out of it, it was pretty cool. http://www.tate.org.uk/modern/exhibitions/streetart/default.shtm. Hope you are having a great and happy day Silver Debuse!
